I just found out Friday that I got a promotion at me new job! Been there just short of 8 months and now being promoted to an Assistant Manager position, with a significant pay raise.

I broke up with a long term live in boyfriend a few months ago and have been living with my parents again while I recover and find a new place to live, so this is a real boost for me. He had anger issues and was emotionally and verbally abusive at times, so it’s been a tough reckoning.

No one at work knows yet, so I wanted to share it here.
