It is the beginning years of the 11th age at the heart of summer and we find ourselves in Cambridge, the city of Bridges, a city of industry, a beast, powered by coal, that’s veins run with oil and water, once a place of learning, now a dark city on the verge of collapse, where Corruption waits around every corner, Opportunistic thieves and blood thirsty assassins wait in every shadow and men of God would rather line their pockets with silver then give their Sermons, a good place…if your willing to be a bad person, so why are you here? Why come to a city on the brink of collapse? Money? Power? Fame? You won’t find any of that here, well not without luck anyway
Greetings everyone! I am a experienced DM (i have been doing it for the past 8 to 9 years) and for the past couple months i have been writing a long term D&D campaign set in my homebrew world call Sole (the Sole saga) this campaign is a dark/gothic fantasy world, the story is meant to be on the darker side (but not too dark, this isn’t warhammer!) the idea is players play good people in a bad world, maybe trying to do some good, or just survive without becoming the monster
Players are expected to be consistent, and play a well thought out character will a backstory and personality, this is a very roleplay heavy group,
a large focus of this game is how player characters (and people) change over time so i have also asked every players for their characters starting personality and what they plan to end it as
This game has a amount of home-brew, including:
- Grim hollow (all classes, spells, and transformations)
- Gunslinger subclass (Matt Mercer)
- Blood cleric subclass (Matt Mercer)
- Blood hunter class (Matt Mercer)
As well as a ton of races, magic items and other things by your truly!
The game starts at level 3, and will be somewhat small scale until level 7 where to whole world will open up to you, it’s a full sandbox,(after level 7) and maybe your backstory will become more important,
