Sweetest thing happened. Thursday night. Angel 21 service from NCL pulled up at the microbus Gateshead and three older gentlemen get on… now they must do this regularly and must get the same driver regularly too, they handed over a birthday card and gift to the lady driver. Words were exchanged in such a kind way. Then. As they all got off at different stops they stopped and chatted and “see you later pet” was said before getting off. All 3 gents were just lush and all chatty to her while they came to their stop. It just made me smile and thought, I hope as we all get older and set in our ways, we appreciate the things others do for us - job or not.
