I recently left my full-time job in DC to attend graduate school in DC this fall. A bartender I know suggested I could find a part-time job as a bartender, doing as little as 1-2 nights per week, despite having no experience. I am seriously considering this as I will almost certainly burn through all of my savings and then some over the next two years even just paying for necessities.

Though I’m sure it varies widely depending on where and when you work, bartenders of DC, what are your typical nightly earnings?

How feasible you thinking finding a position that allows 1-2 nights a week would be?
