I originally started the game in 2007, so I missed RuneScape classic by a few years. Recently, I started watching videos and finding out that only 1-3 players had a monopoly on smithing skills and weapons/armor was crazy!

I didn’t know RS went from a crafting to a drops economy basically over night. I’m just curious about all the odds and ends of how the game originally played that’s far different from now.
