The last update on the Steam page is from the 2nd of August, 2024. What’s going on?

The delay announcement contains the following:

‘‘Will we get updates on the game? While we re-assess the scope of the work needed to be done we will be having limited communication. We do plan, with time, to continue with dev diaries and other updates so that you, the players, can stay up-to-date on the progress of the game.’’

The self-declared FullDev, Kokku, has one or two blog posts that could be in relation to PA2, but the content is anonymized to presumably make sure it can’t be linked to the game directly. (https://kokkugames.com/news/).

I’m just confused why they announced early, went radio silent and left us completely in the dark for so long. I know the art style was ill-received, but a 3d iteration of the first game is theoratically a slam dunk. Iirc the first one already had a secret mode with verticality, although I never tried it.
