Hey everyone. I’m in a really messy situation and I’m hoping for some guidance. Due to a mishap with cloud sharing settings, some very personal photos of mine were inadvertently made accessible to my immediate family (my mom, her bf, his older kids). I’m not sure if everyone saw them (obviously I deleted them as soon as I realized), but it’s likely since my mom and her bf both have their notifications turned on and check their phones obsessively.
We’re currently on vacation together and no one has directly approached me about it yet, but I’ve noticed a change in behavior and some avoidant tendencies.
How can I approach the conversation with my family to clarify the situation and try to move past it? What precautions can I take in the future to prevent a repeat of this? If anyone has experienced something similar, how did you handle the aftermath?
Thank you in advance for any advice. This has been incredibly distressing and any guidance is much appreciated.
