Hey all there!
I have a question regarding the functionality of the Surface 3 in 2023. Since this device is very pocketable and handy in its form factor I really wanna use it more as a secondary work device and tablet for everything in normal life. But the main thing against this idea is, that the Surface 3 is incredibly slow. I already did a RAM swap of 2gb, use Javeline as PDF reader, use Opera (since it is not really demanding regarding RAM and CPU) and use Microsoft 365 as office for now.
So basically I have following discussion: what do you suggest to tweak or change to make a fast pc/tablet out of the surface 3 in todays programm world. Here are all the things I gonna use: -word, excel and onenote -browser with maximum of 5 tabs -pdf reader and editor -mail (maybe gonna use this in the browser if that changes smth)
I was thinking about minimizing the background process but dont know what to change that the surface doesnt become disfunctional. Any ideas are highly appreciated!
