37F in UK. I am in (what I thought) a lovely relationship with a man. We both own our own flats so after much discussion put both of them up for sale in the hope we can buy a house together. All going well. We’ve had a lovely summer together, spending time together, with friends, family etc.

Then I have an offer on my flat.

Since then he has gone. Doesn’t reply to texts. Or calls. A week of this and I have had bare bones responses… Enough to know he is alive but nothing.

I had to text him as he wasn’t answering calls and asked him directly what was going on. He has asked for space. And that he will be in touch at some point.

Wtf. I am presuming he has freaked out that the possibility of commitment to me and buying together is a bit more real now… But I am devestated.

Potentially homeless and devestated. There were no signs that he wasn’t on the same page as me.

I am so sad but also so angry. He is 35.

I dislike this limbo I have been left in and I feel like he is ghosting me… After 2 years together to be treated like this feels cruel.

Am I being unreasonable and reading into this too much?
