So this was really weird and I’m still having difficulty understanding what exactly happened. I was walking on the quiet part of a rather busy street with my boyfriend and he was talking to me. As we were passing by a church i noticed a strange guy just standing there. His demeanor was strange and something made me turn my head and keep looking at his direction. Few seconds after, a young woman crossed the street and took a turn in an alleyway. Immediately he started moving and followed her there. I don’t know what exactly i was thinking but i just froze, stopped walking and looked directly at him. My boyfriend hadn’t noticed anything so he started asking me what was wrong what i was looking at etc. I guess because of the noise the guy realized that someone was looking at him and he stopped, turned around and looked at me. After that he changed his direction and headed towards us before disappearing into another alleyway. I honestly dont know if he was going to assault her and I dont know what I’d have done if i was alone at the time. Maybe staring at a suspicious individual is not the best course of action. The whole situation was too creepy and now I’m not going out without my pepper spray. (It was barely night out and we were in a particularly safe neighborhood of this city)
