I’m sure everyone has that one coworker or person in the break room that just never. stops. talking. And mostly just repeats things in different wording. Its usually older people. Some talk is fine, but often you’re completely ready to go do your actual job but you can’t just walk away or say goodbye or they’ll be in a rude mood for the rest of forever. Plus some coach could potentially walk by and yell at mostly just you for talking, because you’re the younger and able-bodied one.

My elderly coworker is awful about this… nearly every conversation with her is SO hard to end. Even going up to her to let her know you’re going to lunch is like 5 minutes. I feel so bad when a customer asks her something and they get caught in a monologue- they already have their answer, but she just keeps on talking for minutes on end

is there a polite/subtle/inconspicuous way to tell her to just let people leave 💀 ?? I love her she’s a sweet lady but oh my god man
