More news from the front. Cross-posting from the MiSTer Forums.

TL;DR Only buy a MiSTer clone from Ali Express if it is being sold by the QMTech store.

Listings like this are selling a clone of the QMTech clone board, and they don’t seem to work with the N64 and PSX cores.

No idea why, and there likely won’t be any devs looking into it because chasing clone boards will turn into a never-ending headache (that likely will constrain the existing project).

So, for that reason, if you’re going to buy a QMTech mister from Ali, make sure it is sold by the QMTech store (I think this is the correct link - but I’m in the US so none of them load for me). As far as anyone knows, the boards manufactured by QMTech (and they will be labeled as such) are compatible.

Of course, the safest course of action is to buy a de10 nano as that is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with all cores, but I know that’s not economically feasible for everyone.
