From the latest SDP, Steve revealed the “run-in” he had alluded to with the Marner camp in the past from his head of personal security.

It allegedly made its way up the chain at Sportsnet, and there were additional instances where the Mitch camp was in contact with SN trying to get people fired for their criticism.

I think Steve is right to call out the hypocrisy from them since they’re still going on podcasts villainizing all of Leafs Nation for the “noise”, when their own camp is being aggressive and threatening to members of the media who have leveled reasonable criticisms towards his on-ice play.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Steve criticise anything other than Mitch’s on-ice performance at critical times, so I don’t know how they can say this was a warranted response.
