Hi everyone. A few weeks ago I posted on here about my mum dying and needing ID to be able to apply for a place to live. A few people asked for an update, so here it is.

My Kiwi Access came only a few days later and I was able to apply for some places, like heaps lol. Unfortunately I wasn’t successful for any of them. I’ve had to move in with my sister who’s about 5ish hours away from where I was. It’s not bad, and me and my cat are doing alright.

I’ve managed to sort out most things with my mums stuff. Mostly just the legal side of things and figuring out how to afford storage sheds etc until we can figure out something more like permanent or something.

I wanna thank all of you for your help. It was amazing, and it made me feel less alone. It’s been a real shock losing my mum, and so suddenly as well, but you all made me feel less frazzled and all over the place lol. Thank you so much.
