Hey!

So I’ve been using Microsoft Edge for a while now, but I’m considering making the switch to Firefox. However, there are a few features in Edge that I really like and I’m wondering if there are any solutions or workarounds in Firefox. Here are my gripes:

Tab Organization: One of the things I love about Edge is its built-in collapsible tab organization with colors, labels, and the ability to pin tabs for quick access. Are there any similar extensions or built-in features in Firefox that can provide a similar tab organization experience?

Web Select: Another feature I find useful in Edge is the ability to select and copy a specific region of text on a webpage. I know Firefox has a somewhat similar feature for taking screenshots, but I’m specifically looking for the text selection functionality. Is there any way to achieve this in Firefox?

Battery Life: As I’m in my second year of college, I’ll be relying heavily on my recently purchased Legion Slim 5 laptop. While it offers decent battery life of around 7 and a half hours, I’m concerned about Firefox’s reputation for being less power-efficient compared to other browsers. Edge’s efficiency and tab sleep mode have been quite helpful for me, especially with a lot of tabs open. Are there any “under-the-hood” tweaks or settings in Firefox that can help improve its power usage aside from adblocking, disabling automatic updates, or disabling hardware acceleration?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
