i found this sub and thought i should share the worst customer experience i’ve ever received because it’s somewhat funny to me but also quite serious and i was also curious if anybody would have any similar experiences

so for context i work at a locally owned toy store, its pretty big in my city and well known for being a dope toy store, and this story takes place in december like a week away from christmas, so already everybody is extremely on edge cus of how seriously busy it is (naturally a toy store during christmas is wild) im doing my thing helping customers find toys for the holidays blah blah whatever then this dude probably aged 65+ GRABBED ME BY THE SHOULDERS and started shaking me aggressively, and yelling at me asking if we had puzzle tables which we totally did have but i said no anyways because i wanted him to get the f out of the store and away from me, to which he did not care and kept shaking me asking me about puzzle rolls and puzzle boxes and all the other forms of puzzle storages, i kept saying no and i start panicking because WTF??? then bro spits in my direction and mutters something in quebecois and storms out after all that my coworkers comforted me about it and said they would kick him out if he came back but luckily he didn’t and the rest of the day was as normal as a toy store can be (never normal)

sorry i wrote this weird but it is nice to vent it out, i would like to know if anybody experienced similar to this and maybe what i can do in the future when dealing with customers approaching me like this (knock on wood i never have to but you never know in retail)
