We know MB Era 2 happens after Stormlight 5, but exactly how long has not been stated.

We know that the Iriali are traveling through Shadesmar with some refugees and that “golden people” have been seen on Scadrial in Era 2.

Now, Hoid is Wax’s driver, that we know. There is, however another person who acts very Hoidish, who we never directly see.

Allomancer Jak acts very Hoid-like in his self engrandizement, insults, and tall stories.

Replace “airship” with “spaceship” or “worldhopper-ship” and they start to make more sense why the stories are about choking mountains from the inside and fighting someone with a gun that shoots Shades (Nazh?).

Now this is not all, let’s get back to the Iriali. We know Sigzil and Aux are with them. It makes sense that he would travel with them to their destination as he does not know how to travel the deep Cognitive.

Sigzil had already held Exist before, when Hoid gave it up for a while, and we know that the Night Brigade could use Nomad to find Hoid when Nomad held Exist, so Hoid should be able to sense the direction, if not the location of Sigzil.

Now Jak had a partner back in the roughs, Handerwym, his Terris steward.

Sigzil is dark skinned, same as the Terris. He is short for a Rosharan, but that would be tall for a Scadrian. Terris were tall.

According to Jak, he just found Handerwym “in the roughs.” If Hoid sensed Sigzil was near, he would have searched for him.

Sigzil was an accountant before he was a bridgeman. Handerwym functions as Jak’s accountant after they settle down.

Sigzil was very mad at Hoid for something he had done when they talked in Sunlit. Jak stole Handerwym’s half of the publishing rights.

Someone who knew and liked Chouta came to Scadrial as there is a Chouta stand in Bilming in TLM.

Jak, Handerwym, and Nicki Savage were all Cosmere aware.

Everyone thinks that the ‘recent troubles’ Thidakar mentions when talking to Shallan is the end of TLM, but it does not have to be. This would explain why Davil did not know about his sister in TLM. It happening later also explains how Kel has a team of Skybreakers. Sigzil and the Iriali had already started their journey before the Contest of Champions began and with how fast Cognitive travel is when you know what you are doing, they were probably outside the bubble fairly quickly if they were even caught in it.

Hoid is Jak and Sigzil is Handerwym!

Edit: I didn’t think of this one until now, Sigzil’s speaking pattern in the audiobook was very similar to Sazed. Apparently this was a deliberate request from Sanderson. Sigzil is not a short Azish man, he is a Terrisman! That’s why Sanderson answered that question by saying Handerwym was from Scadrial! That’s why Sigzil can speak Malwish. They just lie about it because they don’t want people to know they are worldhoppers!
