Hello all,
I am a student in India and I recently bought a MACBOOK AIR M4 from amazon and got scammed pretty badly.
After receiving the macbook(not open box delivery) I noticed there was a gray band on the right hand side of the screen. I immediately contacted the amazon cs where they told me to take the macbook to original brand(apple) if they wont help then we will replace the product, going to apple store they told me that only sellers can replace this product not apple (be it apple seller or amazon and all other sellers),
after literally talking to amazon customer care service then apple customer care for almost 3-4 hours each, apple said we can only provide you a delivery report which says that it has hardware issue confirmed, and even after giving the officially signed apple report to amazon customer care they are straight up refusing to replace the product I have called 12 times that day to amazon, it was a long day but my elder cousin at the end of the day had a chat with amazon customer care service for 47 mins there they agreed to return my product.
(Little detail why such long calls, amazon says they need DOS letter or denial of service letter from apple only then they will replace the product, when contacted to apple they said “we cant give DOS as we will never deny service to an apple product you can take it up with amazon” which was my last solution)
after taking it up with amazon they agreed to return the product at the end of the call and sent me a return request mail stating that it will be picked up after 2 days (Saturday did the call with cs and Monday was picking up date) well today nobody showed up at my doorstep and there were no calls too and the return status now says customer denied to return the parcel.
I am heartbroken right-now as this was really hard-earned money and Amazon is literally stealing it.
Would really appreciate any help before 24th Sept as after that I cant do anything the window of help closes.

Today after the delivery incident I contacted amazon and asked them to register a complain and got a mail but there is no way for me to check it.
