VoD boy here, wanted to put in a little insight to the hairy neck merging into chest hair issue.

For context, I am very hairy, bald (shaved head because not about that padre hairstyle) and have a very thick beard.

For the front of the neck, I pretty much have a defined line where the beard ends, usually at the “corners” of the jaw and meeting in a slight arch about an inch down from the tip of the chin. This line though is usually hidden, depending on the current length of the beard. Below that is clean shaven down to where the neck ends and the collarbone and chest hair starts. This gives a small puff of the center chest hair popping out when wearing a t shirt, but I also avoid v necks like the plague to avoid the atrocity shown in the Houdini video.

The back of the neck is a bit more difficult; I pretty much just take a razor and shave down as far as I can reach, which isn’t terribly far down because I’m not flexible at all. This prevents unwanted hairs reaching out of the back of my shirt like the claws of a hairy demon. This is great for every day use, but taking my shirt off to go swimming or something can be weird…

Additional info; the sides of the neck, as well as upper cheeks cannot be ignored and can make all the difference in looking well groomed or shaggy.

Yes, I have a found an amazing partner and wife who prefers my hair over a slippery skeleton. And yes, she has attempted to shave my head once, but I stopped her after the third cut and took over, never again.

And yes, I do need to shave/trim before tattoos to prevent unneeded awkwardness as they go through multiple razors to clear a spot.
