The Steering Committee is launching a new Nixpkgs core team to help formalize governance for Nixpkgs. The team will be delegated the constitutional roles of Project Direction, Decision-Making, Coordination with the NixOS Foundation Board, and Creation and Management of Teams, where they pertain to Nixpkgs.
