Im quite new to geocaching so I REALLY need your help. So I was looking for a geocache a while ago and I did not find it, so I logged a DNF. But only today after several weeks not the owner, but a friend of the owner contacts me, furiously. First he tried to picture it as if I said the cache was missing, which I NEVER claimed. I even said I think I was just to clumsy to find it to the owner and in my log which said „Some 4.0 you find in seconds, and some 1.5 not at all. I have no idea how I didn’t find it despite the hint but oh well, I guess its just one of those days. The story (listing) about the region is really interesting tho, thanks:)“ Really simple and polite DNF I think.

So now that person is constantly messaging me about how disrespectful my log is, how I just want to stir trouble because the cache is still there (never claimed it wasnt), and how 3x DNF will cause their cache to get archived and I will ruin their anual christmas event like this. I am shocked by their accusations and quite scared, because he is part of the „Caches Angels“, a homage to the „Hells Angles“. They are really intimidating and im scared of what they might do to my caches or what else they might excuse me of. I will not log any more DNF on their caches but did I do something wrong here??:(
