I got sick Sunday evening while cooking dinner for everyone. I guess I just miss not having to ask for things like fresh ice water, clean washcloths, medicine. Do I really just want a mommy when I’m sick or does anyone out there have a partner that tends to your basic needs when your sick?
My mom said it’s a man thing, that men just aren’t nurturing like women. I just refuse to believe this.
I’m just feeling a little heart broken over how I was taken care of, I can’t help but have fears over how I’ll be taken care of if something big happens to me.
