recently i’ve witnessed two occasions of children shouting insults at black men.

one was near monument, where a 12ish year old lad shouted the n word at a guy who was walking along minding his own business… the other one was yesterday around wreatham place where younger kids were shouting ‘blackie’ and impersonating looky looky men towards another guy who was just walking away with his headphones in

being from middlesbrough myself, which is the strangest home of both multiculturalism and racism, i have never even witnessed anything like this. is it due to the reform stuff? does there need to be school campaigns? it’s absolutely abhorrent and just not something i expected to see, and the first times i’ve seen it happen, having lived here for 5 years. i’m white so maybe i’m just lucky enough to not be around it but it’s absolutely shocking.

parents need to be doing better
