This is a long ish story so I apologize if this gets confusing, I’m honestly typing this out to try too make sense of what happened. I live in New Hampshire, specifically one of those REALLY old mountain towns meaning ghost stories and paranormal experiences are part of life up here. So, I wasn’t surprised when I started to see shadows out of the corner of my eye, hearing ‘pst’ every once in a while, hell even things going missing only to come back as soon as you turn around where normal. But now it’s affecting my sleep, please just hear me out, I go to sleep around 9pm and about 11-12 my dad wakes up hearing me crying out “Shannon get back, get away from there, Shannon, girls this way” after a minute of waiting when I didn’t calm down he came to wake me up I was SOBBING, in a half awake state I explained to him “she made me see the fire, the house was covered in it, there was no way out” now I think it’s worth noting in my 21 years of life I’ve NEVER sleep talked and I rarely get nightmares that aren’t actually memories of my past so this was extremely strange. Then this morning I was talking to my landlord (who’s also a family friend because my dad and him went to highschool together) and I mentioned having a nightmare about a fire swallowing a old farm house, this man says something that triggered this whole post because before this I thought I had dream about something random, “oh you know that in the early 1900’s a farm house that was right out back burnt down, along with the barn and no one knew about it until the next day when the farm hands showed up for work” then after some poking I got something else from him “if I remember correctly the husband was gone in another town to buy some cattle, the people who were in the house was his wife Shannon, his son and four daughters, the youngest daughters where all in the house with there mother and the older two were out in the barn with their brother doing nightly chores when the fire started.” Now I’m thinking that for some reason the mother is making me SEE how they died, I don’t know what to think about this whole situation but if I get the dream again tonight I’m going to go through a sage my house.
