Somebody, please give me a success story for getting rid of booklice in your home. I’m feeling so hopeless. We’ve been battling these suckers for over a year. We live in a small 500 sq. foot apartment in San Francisco (so near the water) and keep a large dehumidifier running 24/7 with all the windows closed. Our apt is a hot box!!! And yet, those suckers just seem to keep relocating to other parts of the house - the kitchen and bathroom mainly where there is more moisture. But as I was cleaning my tortoise’s pen in our main room, I noticed booklice hanging out on the sides of her water dish. So gross!
I really need to hear some success stories for getting rid of these things. We just ordered another (smaller) dehumidifier for the kitchen, and are going to try some baking soda thing for the bathroom. I know they’re harmless, but they are so disgusting and they are freaking everywhere. :( Do you have any other recommendations for getting rid of them?
