A month or so ago, someone called me from Private Number and said they were from a company arranging a HS reunion for (name of HS) and they needed my current address. I was on the job site, very distracted, and gave them my address. My small town HS was very small and most people in my graduating class and I keep in touch on social media so I realize I shouldn’t have given the info, but that’s over and done.

No reunion has occurred, but in the past week, someone has ordered pizzas in my name twice. First time, the pizza company called me and said they didn’t have enough ingredients to make that many pizzas and when I told them I was at work and didn’t order any pizza, they read off my name, address and phone, but said the order came in via email and they didn’t have access to that. I told them it wasn’t me. My GF said the pizza comapny definitely had enough ingredients, they were using that as an excuse to confirm whether I really ordered the pizza.

A few nights later, a 2nd call came from Private Number asking if I enjoyed the pizzas last night. I guess the pizza place is on to them because I didn’t get a confirmation call nor did anyone deliver pizzas. In the background, I heard someone say “Hey Matt, hang up now!” So I have a first name, might be real though I do not know anyone named Matt.

My cell provider gave me the phone number behind Private Number and it is from a private investigation company hundreds of miles away in another city. I suspect it is spoofed because why would a private investigator order 25 pizzas to be delivered to me, even as a prank and BTW, no one answers the PI’s phone when I call it.

I live a clean life, I have multiple levels of certifications and licenses in my job and would not have been awarded these if there were “loose ends” in my life. Last year, I filed within my state to do my job as an LLC - can’t do that if I am wanted by any authorities.

Other than blocking them on my phone, how do I find out who is behind this and what do I do about it?
