This happened two nights ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. I live in a tiny one-bedroom apartment, no roommates, no pets. Around 3am I woke up because I heard someone whisper my name right next to my ear. Not a dream, not half-asleep nonsense — it was clear as day, like someone crouched by my bed and said it.

I bolted upright, turned on my lamp, and of course… nothing. Door was locked, chain was on, no one in the apartment. But the air felt heavy, like when someone’s standing too close to you. I sat there for an hour, lights on, just waiting for something else to happen.
