I’m 27M still renting home. Berkali-kali disaranin sama senior buat langsung beli rumah aja. Kalo dari video youtube yg pernah gue tonton sih (Renting vs. Buying a Home: The 5% Rule - YouTube) mereka ada hitungannya mending ngontrak atau beli rumah dengan mempertimbangkan pajak, maintenance, dan hidden cost lain-lainnya, but the cost reference is from US Canada area.

The point of this question is to roughly estimate the hidden cost so I can make some rough calculation comparing which one is cheaper, renting or buying.
