So I have two pcs, both with 3080ti’s. My office pc has been crashing with DXGI errors when playing UE5 games. Tried everything I could think of including a full format as well as obscure regedit’s per Reddit comments and no change. I ended up updating the vbios and, whilst this reduced the crashes, it didn’t fix it.

Frustrated, I booted my htpc to run some cyberpunk. I hadn’t played on it in a few months so, after booting, I updated drivers and loaded CP2077. My fps was awful. While I was getting 70+ fps before on 4k, med-high, raytracingn off last time I played, I was now getting 20 fps. I decided to roll back drivers to 566.36 using DDU, and bam. Back to 70+ fps.

I went back to my other pc and rolled back drivers and the crashes are gone. My FPS is also nearly double what it was before.

Hope this helps someone but wtf nvidia.

Edit: it’s interesting how my cross post to /r/nvidia was deleted without reason.
