Original Title: What are the concrete and specific examples relating to Sacco-era Mercedes-Benz cars’ compositions and dynamics, that seem to unanimously make everyone exclaim the same remarks… “so well engineered”, “over-built”, “accountants who?”, “battle tanks pretending to be cars”?

I here it time and again. People aggressively and passionately, unanimously describing 80s-90s Mercs as if they’re cars created in God’s image.

“God’s own Chariots on earth”, “Did Germany during this time just not have accountants or something?”… but I don’t understand how those cars can be better than the cars today developed out of billions of Euros worth of R&D since.

So… what are actual, specific, concrete examples, of physically real things that I could look at, engage with, tamper with, of an 80s-90s Merc, that would make these remarks sound self-evident after all?
