Just a weird story that happened when I was young, thought it was strange, kinda funny.

I was 9 and friends with my nextdoor neighbor who was also the same age as me. Him and I were really into both Dragonball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh at the time. He always had the best cards and dbz movies so he always showed me them or we’d watch dbz, all the time.

One day he came to me with a new Black Skull Dragon foil card. I loved the artwork, the color, the shine, it was so cool and I asked if I could borrow it for a day at school (lol idk). Anyway, he did and told me not to lose it.

I lost it lol

I remember coming to him, crying cause I really was super upset about it. He’s of course sad, mad, etc. Eventually, we get over it and move on. Couple months pass. One day, his mom comes home and got him a surprise. Dragonball Z: Super Android 13, one we haven’t seen yet but knew Vegeta was in it.

Anyway, the VHS is sealed. Probably used and resealed but it had the cellophane on it. And I remember him ripping off the plastic, pulling out the VHS and BAM right on top, is the Black Skull Dragon.

We lost our shit. I thought he did something, he thought his mom did something but she had no clue what we were really even talking about. It was literally HIS card right on top of that VHS, pulled from a sealed Dragonball Z movie bought at Blockbuster.

Idk, what the hell was that?
