I’m in batch 1 on my 7640U pre-order, so it’s getting closer and closer to the time to pull the trigger on memory. I’d actually already purchased a $95 kit a few months ago, and then promptly returned it unopened when the price dropped a few days later; since then I’ve decided to just monitor prices online while waiting for notification that Batch 1 is on its way.

What’s the lowest price you’ve seen? My local Micro Center had a Crucial kit as low as $80.99, but that sold out within a day. Just yesterday, the same kit was $89.99, but jumped to $115 today. Amazon has currently has the same kit listed for $82.99. It seems like the equilibrium price has stabilized at ~$85.
