Even though I no longer work at that location, I still find myself shopping there from time to time, and each visit brings back fond memories of the many wonderful guests I had the pleasure of serving. One of my favorite guests still remembers me to this day—it’s been a few years since I worked there, but every time we cross paths, she greets me with the same warmth and kindness that made my days brighter back then. We share a few words, a smile, and a laugh, and for a brief moment, it feels like nothing has changed. It’s moments like these that remind me the world isn’t so bad after all—there are still genuine, caring people who make lasting connections that time can’t fade.
