Hello,

I have a roommate that moved out to their own place, still within colocation contract, and they took the TV, sofa and other objects that I fully paid or majorly paid without my consent. Hiring truck and people while I was at work.

I went to the police station and they don’t want to address it, telling me « you should know the people with who you are engaging with ».

If I take lawyer it will probably cost me more than the value of the stolen assets.

They still have the keys as still under contract. Does it mean that they can just enter take whatever they want and go home with this police rule ? I’m truly shocked about the police reply.

What are the solutions please ?
