When I type “hit_points” as the name of a meta data value in the little widget it sets the name in the editor to “Hit Points” whereas to access the value stored here using get_meta(), I would have to write get_meta(“hit_points”). Is there some way I can set a preference in godot to show me the exact text in the editor, rather than the super mega ultimate readable one because it just confuses me when I wanna script things.
Apologies in advance if this has been answered already.
EDIT (SOLVED):
In the properties panel of the Inspector for any node. Press the Shovel/Wrench Icon on the right hand side of the ‘Filter Properties’ search bar. In the little widget under the heading ‘Property Name Style’ toggle ‘Raw (e.g. “Z Index”)’
