A few years back my father died from cancer caused by exposure to agent orange in the Vietnam War.
When we were arranging his funeral the undertaker asked if there was anything we’d like to put in his casket with him.
A few months before he passed, he two pet cats (Max & Sam) passed away and we had them cremated.
I decided to put the cats ashes in the casket with him.
A month after the funeral I was laying in bed with my 17month old daughter and she suddenly pointed at the doorway and said “Branbrab, Max and Sam”
She couldnt pronounce Grandad.
I asked her what was looking at and she looked me direct in ghe eyes and repeated it while pointing at an empty doorway.
Wasn’t scary, was kinda nice.
