Hi! I already own an iPhone (17 Pro) and use it a lot, but I’m looking for something that:
is small/low-key so I can carry it easily while travelling without drawing too much attention or lugging around heavy gear. I would love to keep my phone in the pocket and use a camera, and stay in the moment.
has decent battery life (or at least uses inexpensive/extra batteries easily) so I don’t end up stuck without power during a trip
will give me better photo quality than my phone i.e., more control, better sensor or lens, nicer image output (especially for when I want something a little special)
I’m not a photographer or anything, just someone who loves taking photos with nice colors without messing around with editing or presets. this would be a casual travel tool: walking around, snapping nice moments, landscapes, street, maybe people, but not heavy gear, not big setup.
Some options I found online are Fujifilm X100Vi, Fujifim XM5, Ricoh GRIII (or now GRIV), Sony RX100 VII, Canon G7X Mark II.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
