I’m writing this not to slander, or have any ill intentions. I’m simply notifying, and informing the public on my anonymous personal experience working at Emissary. I’ve been working at emissary for a few months now and wow. The last few months have been chaos. We have a team of the higher ups Daniel E. and Patricia. Our store manager is Katt. And Two consultants Raul and Jouse. Most managers we have have quit or leave very shortly after. Katt has held the store down. She jumps in when we need her. She stands up for us. She’s there all day time and helps us. No manager before her was there as much as she is. We haven’t had this type of support from a manager in a long time. She listens and address our concerns. Daniel who is the district manager although not around as often is also here taking orders bussing tables and make sure we’re okay. Our collective issues are not with katt and Daniel. To be frank if either katt or Daniel quits a huge Chuck of the team will be quitting as well. The problems started 2 months ago when Patricia was hired as well as the consultants. We have had a consultant harass one of our co workers. Get beyond drunk while on the clock, roll up weed in-front of our customers, hit his pen. Telling staff they don’t know what they’re doing and that in his country men aren’t questions. We’re being paid late, or not at all. Changes are happening to the store, and menu prices and we are not being told about. Our customers aren’t being told which is being taken out on us. Patricia comes in on her days off (weekends) eats and gets mad if we don’t bus her tables or serve her the second she comes in. She to be frank doesn’t know what she’s doing. She doesn’t know how to handle a restaurant like emissary. She may as well be burnt out but she’s the reason a few of the team i have quit. We’ve had emergencies that require managers and the only one who ever shows up for those are katt and Daniel. We the Emissary team are tired of being pushed around by Patricia and her consultants. We are not animals to be disrespected. We are not asking for much just for accountability from patricia and her consultants team. the owner and who ever comes across this, we hope you listen to us. We hope you take into consideration our feelings, our hard work, and our experience. We are not asking for more money but Simply to be treated with respect as workers. We are asking the public to not continue to support Emissary coffee at any of their locations

- 2039 p st la bicicletta If you’ve been to these stores and noticed a change in service it’s bevause Patricia decided to cut servers, to cut staff, causing us to be understaff. Overwhelming the servers and the baristas. Staff have quit left and right, people are getting burnt out, we’re not getting paid, we’re being disrespected on the job as well as harassed, we’re working long shifts with no breaks. It’s hard yall. I’m exhausted everyone is exhausted. Don’t continue to support a business that doesn’t give a fuck about you or its workers. Daniel and katt are doing what they can and helping when they can. Our shift leads are too. We are asking Pablo and Patricia to recognize our Union. We care about our clients. We care about our jobs. Patricia and Pablo we hope you recognize this. To Daniel and katt, thank you for being our voice and for stepping in. To the team keep fighting we will get our voice heard. To our customers, please write management, comment on their Instagrams, whatever you have to do do get them to listen to us. Thank you
