Riding my motorcycle here in Japan a few weeks ago, listening to Wheel of the Worst #17 (The Croning Cermony one with Jim and Colin) through my earbuds. Rich is talking about the Croning Ceremony - bunch of old women going into the woods to put crowns on their heads and he just goes, “…it’s fine.”

Right then, a cargo truck cuts me off. I’m about to pull around him because fuck that guy, but Rich’s voice is in my head: “It’s fine…” So I stay behind the truck. 30 seconds later at an intersection, truck driver decides yellow lights are optional (as is in Japan…) and slams into the car in front of him. I would have been in the middle of that pancake…
