What’s up fellow pirates!

Me and a friend have for the past month been working on a solution for the excessive amount of ads that interrupts your experience when listening to podcasts on Spotify. Now it has finally been released to all major extension web stores!

It works by collecting user-submitted reports of advertising and other interruptive content which it uses to automatically skip over them. We use the same server as the original SponsorBlock (for Youtube) and the creator (Ajay) has helped us with some stuff during development.

It’s 100% free and open source and works without problems with the standard free Spotify plan. Right now we’re also working on getting it functioning in the Firefox Android app, hopefully we can release a fix soon. Feel free to check it out, we need active users submitting segments for it to serve its function! :)
