A 15-year-old boy has died in an electric dirt bike crash on the Gold Coast.

Emergency services were called to Broadbeach Boulevard in Broadbeach just after 3am on Saturday following reports a teenager had fallen.

Queensland Police said that officers provided first aid, but the boy from Worongary died a short time later.

Police said he was riding an electric dirt bike and the Forensic Crash Unit was investigating, with speed and other circumstances to form part of that investigation.
