My (female) friend said this to me last night and it feels like a back handed compliment. I keep reminding myself she was drunk and joking but I can’t seem to let it go. We went out and were drinking. She said this after she teased my husband about not making her pancakes at our place when she was last at this same bar and was very drunk and wanted to come over and have her make him food. He didn’t like the comment she made either but let it go. I just feel like this comment makes it sound like my opinions aren’t relevant and I’m just around to look nice. Would you say something to a friend who said this to??
