An actor from the X-Files has been announced as the narrator of a documentary about Suffolk’s UFO mystery as it hits the small screen.

William B. Davis, known as the cigarette smoking man in the series, will take viewers on a journey through Britain’s Roswell UFO incident as the programme launches on Amazon Prime.

The film will revisit a gloomy December 1980 in Rendlesham Forest, near Woodbridge, and will explore eyewitness accounts, declassified documents, and scientific analyses that continue to mystify experts more than 40 years later.

“Rendlesham is not just a local legend, it’s part of a global conversation about what we don’t yet understand,” co-director Mark Christopher Lee said.

“Amazon Prime allows audiences everywhere to explore the evidence and witness the events for themselves.”
