made this account purposely to make this post but i do not understand xenogenders for the life of me and i do not understand why they are under the trans ‘umbrella’

most if not all of them do this as a choice, example this one gender where they can ‘choose their gender and download new genders’ choose your gender?? how do you CHOOSE a gender. i’m not sure if it’s literal or not but either way the wording is actually horrific. so many people think being trans is a choice, and here are xenogenders literally MAKING it a choice.

the language they use ‘looking for new pronouns’, ‘heres all my pronouns’ and then it’s two actual pages (or more) of pronouns. and thats usually where it ENDS. they might pick a new name but that’s about it. they don’t face consequences for being trans but yet we face the consequences for them being pupboygender. “oh it isnt harming anyone” yes it is. it’s harmful when your pronouns came from jokes ABOUT us and then (yes ive actually seen this) they decide to ‘reclaim’ it. you cant reclaim pronouns like you would reclaim a swear or slur that isnt how it works. it’s also harmful when people actually think that being dragonstarmasc gender IS being trans and complain about trans people like that has anything to do with us

most if not all their genders are aesthetics or feelings like ‘warm’ or ‘tired’ how is your GENDER tired?? it’s actually mind boggling. how do you present as catgender? or dragongender?

you want to be zombievampgender and use neonstarfluff pronouns? fine. dont lump me into it and claim we’re similar. ive never felt fully apart of the lgbtq community in general, and this stuff just makes me feel even more separated.

and for me it’s the fact other trans people see this and see no issue with it, they actively understand that this is a choice and fine with it. the fsct people are choosing their gender and then being labelled under trans is actually makes me feel funny in a bad way.

sorry this might be all over the place. youve all probably heard this rant a lot but ive been holding this for years but didn’t because i was scared to have a different opinion than what seems the vast majority of whats meant to be ‘my community’
