Hello! I’m a PS5 user but have also dabbled in the word of SBC Gaming. I have a small vertical and horizontal emulation device, but the power just isn’t there for me, sooo… “Just get a Steam Deck bro.”

I love the idea of OLED handhelds, as I rarely use the TV unless it’s for a really pretty game that I want that TV experience for. I have a lot of different situations in mind and different use cases including: PS5 streaming, Steam library, emulation, light PC gaming, OpenGOAL, old games I missed out on, newer games I didn’t have a PC for, games I don’t want to spend forever tweaking to play, etc.

All that said, for me it’s easier to get an idea of what the Steam Deck is NOT good for, and just determine if that’s a deal breaker for me. Mainly wondering if my desires matched anyone else’s in this sub, and if they feel satisfied with their Deck experience and what may be lacking? I’ll take any feedback, thanks!
