The sixth season of For All Mankind is in active production, according to this week’s Production Weekly bulletin. Production Weekly continuously tracks and compiles up-to-date data on projects at various stages of development. Since season 5 of FAM hasn’t aired yet, it’s possible that season 6 is now in pre-production.
Being in production doesn’t mean it will be renewed, but it’s generally a strong indicator, as Apple is paying for the development of the new season. Remember that For All Mankind is a very long-running show, so I don’t think season 5 would be the final one, unless Apple has discussed this beforehand with the team. I don’t see them canceling the show at this point.
