Asking because, today, I think I had the worst thing ever said to me by a customer. Or just another human being. Had a little old lady in my line and she dropped her money. I went around to help her pick it all up. As I was grabbing the last quarter, a dude walked up behind her and stopped his cart a few feet behind me. He then drops this classic on me, “that’s just how I like my women, on their knees.” He laughed his stupid laugh after he says it. I had no words and was just brain exploding that this guy just said this to me. Jesus Christ, I’m going to go to jail because of this job.
