A small tip for anyone who hasn’t noticed (I haven’t seen anyone mention this on the sub or on the forums and I just figured it out): Castora follows the Cantha day and night cycle.

So if you are fishing or want screenshots/videos of Castora during a certain time of day, it seems to follow the same cycle as Cantha compared to the rest of the game.

I guess Castora is indeed pretty far south towards Cantha which I guess brings back the discussion of how Tyria is revolving around it’s sun.
