The audacity of some men…so I’ve been chatting with a guy online and we make plans to go for dinner tonight or tomorrow night at a local restaurant. During this conversation, he gives me his number so we can chat in a more personal manner. It took me a bit but I called him and we chatted on the phone for a couple hours. During this conversation I mentioned that I liked the restaurant we’d be meeting at as I go there frequently and several staff know me so I’ll definitely feel safer while I get to know him. He was supposed to let me know yesterday which day worked better for him but instead texted me tonight. I just figured life came up for him so he couldnt reach out yesterday, no worries. But Instead of mentioning dinner, he invited me over to “Netflix and chill” I replied that that would be a very private setting compared to the very public setting we had discussed…his response:
“I get it. You’re insecure and it’s understandable. I just wanted to chill watch netflix drink and smoke a bit and probably get a lil naughty . No worries if you wan tto take it slow”
I’m insecure for not wanting to meet someone I don’t know in a very private, let’s touch each other setting? Please someone make this make sense…
Am I insecure because he wants to get me drunk and high so he can get touchy touchy? Because honestly if he thinks I need to be drunk and high to touch him (while pathetic) it’s kinda a compliment
