I just told my partner for probably the 5th time in a few months to please try to put the seat and lid down. He leaves everything up and flushes with everything open. It’s disgusting.

His argument was he “tries to remember but sometimes he forgets” …he forgets every time. I put the seat and lid down at least 5 times in a day because he’s left it up.

Plus this gem: “Why can’t you put it down when you use it? What’s the difference?”

Uh, other than the fact that it’s disgusting to shoot piss bacteria all over the bathroom when flushing, it’s fucking disgusting to leave everything up and a gaping hole of water and plumbing to accidently drop all manner of things into.
